Gbenga Olaniyan

Gbenga Olaniyan is a qualified Estate Surveyor and Valuer.  A graduate of the University of Lagos, he left the Institution with a B.Sc. (Hons) Estate Management.

After having some pre-qualification experience in the real estate world, he worked for Fox and Company (International Estate Surveyors and Valuers) between October 1987 and November 1992 and resigned as a Senior Estate Surveyor.  He had a brief stint with Rainbow Home Savings and Loans Limited (Mortgage Bankers) from December 1992 to April 1993 as the Assistant General Manager (Estate) after which he resigned to pioneer Estate Links Ltd and Gbenga Olaniyan & Associates.

He is presently the Principal Partner of Gbenga Olaniyan & Associates (Estate Surveyors & Valuers) and the Executive Chairman of the board Estate Links Limited (International real estate Consultants). Gbenga is also on the board of directors of several companies in Nigeria.

He is also an immediate past member of the 15-man Professional Practice Committee which is the body that regulates the Estate Surveying and Valuation practice in Nigeria.

He is an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors & Valuers; International Institute of Rating and Revenue Valuation (U.K); the international real estate institute (IREI) U.S.A., the international real estate federation (FIABCI) and the International Facility Management Association. He is regularly invited to corporate events to speak on real estate and construction, the most recent being the Africa Day at the London Business school and Harvard business school where he was a guest speaker. He has attended several executive courses over the years including the Lagos Business School, Lagos Nigeria, the University of Liverpool for his MBA and the Harvard Business School, Boston USA.


Damola Awosika

Damola joined Estate Links in 2010 as a partner after several years in the UK. Damola is a qualified legal practitioner with a few years experience in commercial law before relocating to the UK. He then moved into property/housing management and holds a masters degree in the field. Damola headed several positions with leading UK Housing Associations and was until February 2010, the Voids and Allocations Manager of one of the largest UK housing associations, having responsibility for over 26,000 properties and serving 26 London local authorities/home counties. Damola was instrumental to the development of several schemes and initiatives, including Locata (UK's largest choice-based letting scheme). He served on the board of Locata until his departure from the UK.


Yemi Stephens

Yemi is the General Manager and a Partner at Estatelinks Limited/Gbenga Olaniyan & Associates. He has a cognate work experience spanning over 12 years and has worked with various reputable Estate firms and property companies. He was with Bode Adediji Partnership for 5 years where he rose to become a Senior Estate Surveyor saddled with the responsibility of overseeing both valuation and management departments and later a Branch Manager and Assistant General Manager (operations). He later joined Fine & Country International Realty as a Senior Manager with opportunity of international real estate exposure. Yemi is a graduate of Albion College, London and a member of African Real Estate Society. He has benefitted from various property related seminars, conferences and workshops both within and outside Nigeria.


Gbolade Adewole

Gbolade Adewole is a non-executive director with responsibility for business strategy and technology. He graduated as a Chemical Engineer B.Sc(Hons) from Obafemi Awolowo Universty Ile-Ife Nigeria, and went on to cut his business management “teeth” by undergoing practical business training at the Prince Charles Youth Business Trust (PYBT), London in 1993, targeted at entrepreneurs below 30 years of age. He went on to enrol for a Master’s degree in Management in Construction’ (Project Management) at Kingston University, Surrey, United Kingdom. His thesis was titled ‘International Project Management in Developing Countries’ He updates and expands his knowledge base by regularly attending various management courses and training programs such as: Business Analysis and Management (UCL), Strategic Management and Planning (University of London), Facilities Management (University of Birmingham). He is a Microsoft certified professional (mcp) and has undergone training on Internet technologies and strategies and currently lectures on this subject He is the current CEO of ITSI, an E-Business Consulting and IT Service firm based in Lagos Nigeria. Prior to joining Estate Links board, he worked in various management capacities; such as TGT Export, as the business development manager and I Vantage Technologies where he was responsible for technology analysis, strategy and business planning for start-ups and new businesses. He is currently gathering empirical data through practical research and experiments on Internet/ digital Technologies as a corporate business tool in developing countries in preparation for his Doctorate degree.


Oladapo A. Awosika

Dapo is the company secretary / legal adviser and has been on the board of Estate Links Ltd since inception in 1993. He has worked with the Legal Aid Council, Wole Olufon & Co, Olu Akinnuoye Agbaje & Co and Uche Nwokedi & Co. He is a member of Nigerian Bar Association, International bar Association, Negotiation & Conflict Management Group and Christian Lawyers Fellowship of Nigeria (CLASFON).
